Come and Hunt in the High Country......

There's nothing like getting up early and walking up a canyon to see the sun come up with the sound of Elk bugling in the background.  We've been hunting the Northwest corner of Colorado since 1990 with some unbelievable success. I have personally taken 23 Elk in 16 seasons with 15 of them bulls. Even though the last couple of years it's been a little tougher hunting Elk, we are still running about 50% on kills and about 70% on opportunity.  Most of the Elk taken are 5x5's with a few 6x's every now and then.  There is a 4 point restriction in this area with a opportunity to draw an extra cow tag on the 3rd season.  The 1st and 4th seasons are either sex tags.  We hunt on 5000 acres of private land that is bordered on 3 sides by other private ranches.  The White River National Forest borders the ranch to the South.  We love it when the public is in the National Forest because they just push the Elk out on the private land.  With a cabin and meat house right on the property, this is a great opportunity to hunt Elk in Colorado.  This hunt stays pretty full so  call in early January for any available openings.

Pricing; Cost of hunt $2000.00, excluding licenses, alcohol, food (you buy your own or we can buy it from your menu but we will cook it for you), transportation and gratuities. (Total cost of hunt including tags, food and transportation usually runs around $3700.00)
